Department:-Family Medicine Physician

“Through Concierge Medical Services of Family Practice Associates of Upper Dublin, I have been able to relate to my patients as a traditional family physician. Our relationships have been enhanced with the ability to spend more time with each other. We can delve into life’s medical and social complexities which results in better and more comprehensive care. I feel rejuvenated and energized. My passion for family medicine and treating patients without the constraints posed by current insurance realities is back to where it was when I first started practicing medicine.”

Dr. Gerstman has been practicing family medicine in Fort Washington since 1981. He graduated from the UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School where he was a leader at the Student Family Health Care Clinic. This clinic provided much needed medical care to the surrounding Newark, New Jersey residents. Dr. Gerstman places a great emphasis on teaching – this includes his patients, medical students, and residents in family medicine. Since 1981, he has served as a faculty member of the Abington Family Medicine Residency Program. In 2009, he took formal course work and became board certified in Integrative Holistic Medicine. An active member of the community, Dr. Gerstman has served on the Upper Dublin Township Open Space Committee since 1995 and has been a Committee Leader for Upper Dublin Community Day. He has become active in fund raising for the Mann Center for the Performing Arts emphasizing its role in educating and providing entertainment to children in neighboring communities. Dr. Gerstman’s hobbies and interests are classic cars, scuba diving, professional baseball, biking, the Mann Center, and voice-over cartoon characters.
